Child Psychologist Galway
Our psychotherapy and counselling centre at 27 Wood Quay, Galway, opened in March 2019, extending the range of services already offered at our Dublin locations. The Galway centre comprises 4 confidential and comfortable counselling rooms, from which our psychotherapists and counsellors work.
Our Child Psychologist put their skills at the service of families in difficulty in the education of their child. Parenthood is never an easy exercise. The lives of parents are essentially marked by challenges and trials at each stage of a child’s development. Therefore, when a child is stuck in a difficulty, the whole family is impacted. Convinced that parents investment in therapeutic work is a means of appeasement for the child, Our therapists see parents as their child’s first therapists. It therefore makes collaboration with families an essential part of its work.
It is in this perspective of cooperation that they welcome you for any difficulty concerning your child :
– Educational, relational and adaptation difficulties
– Behavioural disorders, violence, opposition
– Difficulties of socialization
– School problems, immaturity, refusal to grow up
– Illness – being, depression, tantrums or anxiety
– Attachment or personality disorders
– Problems of grief, loss, separation
All our therapists are members of relevant professional associations such as the Irish Association for Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP), the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), , and the Psychology Society of Ireland (PSI).
