Ursula Somerville

Ursula Somerville holds a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Tivoli Institute, Dublin. She further has a Post Graduate Diploma in Gestalt Therapy from the Dublin Gestalt Centre and a Diploma in Child Psychotherapy and Play Therapy together with a Certificate in Filial Training (Child/Parent Relationship Training) from The Children's Therapy Centre. She has furthered her training with a Certificate in Jungian Sand Therapy from the Sand Therapy Institute of Ireland. She is an invited lecturer in St Petersburg’s State University, Russia in Sandplay Therapy with children. She has trained and assessed trainee psychotherapists in The Irish Institute of Counselling and Psychotherapy Studies (IICPS). Ursula also works as a Creative Clinical Supervisor supporting persons working in the Health and Mental Health Profession. Ursula has 16 years experience working with patients and their families in a surgical setting where she was the first person patients met on hearing news of life-changing medical conditions.
Ursula works with feelings around; depression, relationship issues, bereavement, recovery from addiction, suicidal thoughts, illness, sexual issues and general stress that can make it difficult to cope with everyday experiences. Ursula will support parents/carers to enhance the relationship they have between themselves and their child/charge (Filial Training).
She works with adults and children and is an accredited member of The Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (MIAHIP), European Association for Psychotherapy, (MEAP) The European Association of Integrative Psychotherapy (MEAIP) and the International (Jungian) Sand Therapy Association (MJSTA).

The fee per session is €70.
