Thomas Larkin holds a Masters Degree in integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from the Minster Centre in London. He also completed a post-graduate training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with the Immigrant Counselling and Psychotherapy Service (ICAP) in London.
He is accredited with the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
Thomas has specialist experience in working with anxiety and panic, depression, low self-esteem, bereavement, body-based psychological problems or psychosomatic problems, relationship difficulties, work-related stress, and unresolved childhood issues. The therapeutic relationship of two people is key to working through these difficulties - someone has to hold the mirror while you look at yourself.
Thomas has also taught yoga for 15 years and has developed PsychotherapyYoga- an integration of body psychotherapy and yoga. He teaches workshops in Dublin city centre and Dundrum.
