
Kathleen was awarded a Diploma in Counselling, Psychology and Therapy by Accept Counselling Association of Ireland. She then successfully completed the Professional Training Course in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Tivoli Institute and graduated as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist. Her work is influenced by person-centred, humanistic and cognitive-behavioural therapy. Kathleen is an accredited member of the IACP.
A lifetime of personal experiences and learning has taught her that emotional healing, inner confidence and peace of mind, through self-development, self-awareness and self-acceptance, is the key to happiness and successful living. Kathleen has vast experience of working with children in care and has also successfully completed a “Children & Loss” accredited to The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Other areas of expertise include stress, anxiety/panic attacks, depression, lack of confidence, low self-esteem, relationship and work-related difficulties, unresolved childhood issues, infertility and long-term illness. Kathleen is also very involved with an organisation which is dedicated to suicide prevention.
