Celine Maurer

Celine has a BA Honours Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School. The BA is recognised as a professional training course by the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and satisfies the professional accreditation requirements of this body. Celine also holds a Certificate in Community Addiction Studies.

Celine works with adults on a one-to-one basis and has gained experience in working with a wide range of issues including addiction, abuse, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, bereavement and separation, and many other areas that are part of everyday life for many people.

Celine offers a calm and confidential environment where you can explore things that are troubling you, without fear of being judged or criticised. In a safe environment, thoughts and feelings can be explored and repeated patterns of behaviour identified, some of which may have a bearing on current problems.

As well as working in private practice, Celine has worked as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist in a variety of settings including helpline counselling for 1Life Suicide Prevention Helpline. Celine also works as an Addiction Rehabilitation/Integration Officer within the HSE.

Sessions last 50 minutes and the fee is €60.

(A sliding scale regarding fee can be negotiated in certain circumstances).
