Psychotherapy Training and Accreditation
Anne trained with Relate as a Relationship Counsellor and a Sex Therapist. She has a Certificate in Bereavement counselling through the Hospice and holds a Diploma in Counselling.
Anne is an accredited psychosexual therapist and supervisor with C.O.S.R.T. (The College of Sexual & Relationship Therapists) and is an accredited counsellor and supervisor with IACP (Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
She is a qualified Trainer (FAS) and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Supervision from Trinity College. She supervises individuals and groups.
Anne is also a qualified nurse and has had specialised training in helping clients and couples deal with a cancer diagnosis. She regularly works with groups of men who have been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. Her motivation for this is to resource them and help them to come to terms with the changes their diagnosis makes to themselves and their intimate relationships.

Anne has an integrative style using theories like Psychodynamic, Systemic, Humanistic, Existentialism and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
She believes life is all about how we are in relationship and how we cope with the losses life brings. She has a keen awareness of how the past can influence the present.
Anne works with individuals and couples, she takes particular joy from seeing couples manage their relationship issues well and in individuals realising their potential. She is invested in helping clients develop a greater understanding of themselves and helps them improve their relationships with others.

Anne has worked in the therapy field for many years. She has a particular interest in relationship issues, sex therapy and bereavement.
Anne works with many issues like sexuality, stress, self-esteem and the search for meaning. Anne also works with gay and lesbian clients. She has a particular interest in helping clients through life crises, which may affect their sexual or emotional intimacy.
