Child Psychotherapy provides individual psychotherapy to children who experience emotional difficulties in both, school or personal life. Emotional distress may express itself in an inability to concentrate in school, nightmares, seriously worrying about ‘unreasonable things’, bedwetting, acting-out, hyper activity, withdrawnness, sadness and eating disorders.
An initial consultation is arranged where parents can ask any questions they have about the process and the practicalities of their child being in therapy. It is possible that family therapy may be more suited to the client’s needs. This and other alternative treatments available elsewhere can be discussed.
